Haider trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at Monash Medical Centre, gaining his Fellowship and receiving the Young Scientists Award from the International Menopause Society in Berlin, Germany, for his research in Premature Menopause.

He then completed a formal fellowship in Gynaecology Minimally Invasive Surgery. During this time, he was responsible for organising, and teaching at, registrar training workshops in laparoscopic surgery. For this work, he was awarded the Travelling Fellowship by the Australian Gynaecology Endoscopic Society, giving him the opportunity to train in laparoscopic and robotic surgery in the US.

Dr Najjar is also a board member of Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society Limited, taking part in conferences and workshops in Australia and internationally.

Building on his diverse experience, Haider has become a sought-after obstetrician, gynaecology surgeon and infertility specialist. Patients happily recommend him, especially for his calm, reassuring approach and detailed knowledge of the latest medical technologies.

Haider holds a position as Senior Medical staff at Monash Medical Centre in the Gynaecology Endoscopy Unit. He is involved in the training of the Advanced Laparoscopy Fellowship and training any ITP trainers.

Haider Joined Melbourne IVF as a fertility specialist in 2007, his laparoscopic surgical skills have complimented his approach to managing his fertility patients.

He has been the leading specialist in Victoria in performing single port surgery at Monash Medical Centre and in private practice.
